It started out as a pretty good day......

Then....I sprayed it with a dull cote that I have never used before.  I didn't think to test it first either.  Lesson learned.  Oh well, re-paint and re-decal.

11919 has been re-painted and re-decaled.  Below is the finished product.  I used my old proven matt finish varnish from my air brush.  Its Humbrol matt clear.  Now, I just need to weather it a little.

Here is 11919 being pulled behind GP7 1741 to change a crew and add 2 gondolas with corrugated steel loads to an inbound freight train.  The real 11919 met its fate in a fire a couple of years ago on a small railroad in Texas.  Its had been restored and was being used a a tourist car allowing riders to experience what it was like to ride the rails.
